Oscar Calvo was founded in 2004 and is a Melbourne based company.

Calvo’s fist collection was launched in March of 2005.  The collection was high-end tailored street wear combining hoods, graphically adorned tops and the like with quality fabrics.
Calvo’s winter designs were also on center stage ready to make their mark as part of the first monthly fashion shows at the new Melbourne landmark, ‘Federation Square,’ in March 2005.
Calvo was a Victorian finalist at the, ‘Mercedes-Benz Start Up Program 2005.’
In November 2005 Calvo was one of the top 10 designers to return as a representative of the 2005, “End Of Year Designer Showcase” at Fed Square. Calvo won the ‘Designer of the Year’ audience poll.
Rising fast on the fashion scene, now with four collection’s to his name, Calvo has a full spectrum of style, colour and a mix of elements which announces Oscar Calvo.
In June 2007 Calvo opened up the doors to his first boutique. The new boutique which is situated on Johnston Street, Collingwood, makes a bold statement and holds an international exuberance and defiantly sets the bar high on what Australia can expect from Oscar Calvo.

With a swag of awards and fashion industry accolades under his belt, including Victorian finalist in the “Mercedes-Benz Start Up Program 2005″ and designer of the year at the “Fed Square End of Year Designer Showcase 2005.” Calvo has been quick to establish his place as one of the bright young things of Australian fashion. Describing his self titled label as “cutting edge but practical, high quality and exclusive with a premium price tag.”
